How do we know God's will for our lives? How can we better recognize the difference between God's will and our own,
deepen our ability to hear God's voice, and sharpen our powers of discernment?
These questions lie at the heart
of Christian life and we will explore the answers to these questions at our annual Ladies Conference.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God - what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2)
Paul invites us to discover the will of God through the path of discernment. Discernment is more than a practice and a process; it is a way of life. It is a skill to be developed as well as a product of spiritual transformation. We will discuss how to develop this skill and in so doing, have an intimate relationship with God.
