English Classes

Would you like to learn to speak English? In addition to her free classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Debi Cale also offers low-cost private English Classes on Saturdays for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Time and Date:

Beginning Level Class: Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-11:00 AM
Intermediate/Adv Level Class I: Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 AM-12:30 PM
Intermediate/Adv Level Class II: Tuesday and Thursday 1:30-3:00 PM
Private Lessons: Private lessons allow a student to progress more quickly because the instruction can be adapted to the individual's specific needs. The fee is $25/hour.

Child Care:
Child care is provided for our 11:00 am class for $5.00 per hour for each child.

Additional Information:
  • All classes will use A Conversation Book 1, English in Everyday Life (Revised 3rd Edition) by Tina Kasloff Carver and Sandra Douglas Fotinos. Students can purchase textbooks from the instructor at a cost of around $23.
  • During the course students will be introduced to the Bible. Using pictures and simple English, students will become acquainted with the basics of Christianity. This is a way for our church to share the gospel, the "good news," that Jesus brought to the world and for students to practice English at the same time.

(Between Eisenhower and Ann Arbor/Saline Road. Just south of the Busch's shopping center.)

Enter through the glass door on the far right. We will be meeting in the college classroom, down the left hand hall off the front lobby. It's easy to find.
