"Believing in Relationships" (Luke 24:36-45)

The warmth of Jesus' love is felt right up until His ascension. When He appears to his disciples, He first reassures them and then He opens their minds to understand all the words He had taught them in light of the Resurrection. He wants them to know the great importance of understanding that the Good News of repentance and forgiveness can never be kept just for us. We must share what we have witnessed or our study is for us and not for God. Christ can never be God-for-us without being God-for-all. Richard Mouw, President of Fuller Theological Seminary, said this, "We serve a God whose generous ways with others are beyond our capacity to grasp. But that same generosity has been clearly displayed in the marvelous grace that sent our Savior to Calvary - an abundant grace that is greater than all of our sin." Like Jesus, may we display a spirit of love and generosity in our relationships with others.
